Prof. AKINYEYE

Professor Akinyeye is of the Department of History and Strategic Studies. He specializes in International Relations, Military History and Strategic Studies. He is widely published in his area in books and learned journals both nationally and internationally. He is also a bilingual scholar with competence in both English and French languages. He had been a recipient of scholarships and fellowships. Among these are scholarship from the federal government of Nigeria and fellowships from the British Council and the French government. He has also utilized a research find from Tet fund. He is a fellow of the Historical Society of Nigeria and the Nigerian Academy of Letters.
