Dr. OJO, Esther Titilayo

Dr. Òjó, Esther Títílayọ̀ is an Associate Professor of Literary Criticism and Stylistics in the

Department of Linguistics, African and Asian Studies, University of Lagos, Nigeria where she

teaches Literary Criticism, Stylistics, Further Literary appreciation, Traditional Music, Customs

& Institutions, Advanced Comprehension and composition, Advanced Stylistics and Literary.

Criticism. She is Departmental Staff Adviser, Faculty GST Coordinator and member of

University APC. She is currently undertaking a Professional Diploma in Early Childhood

Education, deepening her expertise in child development, play-based learning, and inclusive

classroom practices.

has attended and presented well-researched articles in both local and international conferences.

She has also published wide in both local and International journals of repute with over forty –

seven publications to her credit. She is a member of ISOLA, IAWE, YSAN, OLÙKỌ́ ÈDÈ

YORÙBÁ and other reputable organizations and associations. Her service to profession include

chief moderator of JUPEB, Facilitator for Noun, External Examiner for Department of

Linguistics, African Languages and Communication Arts, Lagos State University. Her research advances text-based, evidence-driven readings that illuminate authorial voice, reader response, cultural contexts of literature, and how linguistic choices create aesthetic effect and ideological meaning. She is committed to training critical readers, contextualized interpretation and bridging art and science.
