Personal Statement
Professor F. N. Ndubuisi is a Professor of Philosophy with specialization in Philosophy of Science, Ethics, African Philosophy, and Jurisprudence. He is also a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.Prof. Ndubuisi has published extensively in both Nigerian and international journals and has presented scholarly papers at numerous conferences within Nigeria and abroad. He is the author of seven books, in addition to numerous journal articles and monographs published both in Nigeria and internationally. Over the years, he has supervised and produced thirteen Ph.D. graduates, many of whom have become Professors and senior academics in reputable universities.Within the university system, he has rendered distinguished service in several capacities. He served as the Acting Vice-Chairman of the Senate Ceremonies Committee and was Head and Coordinator of Students’ Debate. He also served on the University Legal Advisory Committee and presently serves on the Publication Vetting Committee for aspiring Professors. He was a member of the team that established the Institute of Continuous Education (ICE). He also initiated the Memorandum of Agreement between the University of Lagos Business School (ULBS) and the College of Insurance and Financial Management (CIFM) for the establishment of Executive Diploma Program on Business Ethics .Prof. Ndubuisi is the Pioneer Vice-Chancellor of Christopher University, Mowe, Ogun State. A freelance writer and commentator on national and international affairs, he served as a member of the Editorial Board of National Mirror, where he maintained a regular Thursday column titled “Existentialism.” His contributions to scholarship, university administration, and intellectual discourse have earned him recognition as an accomplished academic, legal practitioner, writer, and mentor.
